How verification works

Evidence, not marketing.

Every record on Passa carries a transparent status. Nothing is inferred; nothing is bundled. If something is only partially verified, it says so. If it cannot be verified, it says that too, and that is never treated as proof it is false.

Self-declared

Verification pending

A verification request has been sent; the verifier has not yet responded.

Some fields were confirmed. The others remain in an earlier state.

Verified

Unable to verify

The verifier could not confirm the record. This is not proof it is false.

Expired

The record was verified but has passed its refresh window.

Revoked

A verification was withdrawn. Reason is recorded in the audit trail.

Disputed

The professional has raised a dispute against a verifier's response.

A note on AI

Passa's AI is used to draft interview summaries and surface question follow-ups for a human reviewer. It is never used to hire or reject, to infer protected characteristics, to analyse facial emotion, or to rank accents. All AI-generated content is labelled and reviewable.
